Coroner's Findings

So the woman’s dream is, by their and our hands, hysterical.

(And not entirely woman.)

Voices of expression and tins of regret. It

seems that, despite all tendencies, we have stairs instead.

Or steps. Or plans of steps, stepmothers and stepladders. Stemming ladders and

climbing our amputations (internal, external, by blade

or electricity).

And poverty is thought to be part of a "vicious cycle" in which these constructs are mutually reinforcing. Involuntariness

must be recorded, along with paraphernalia

found nearby to the body.

Grave fears are a futile occurrence. And the attending

was “bounded” by the “margins”. The deceased had previously edged

along the clifftops, the walls of the hallway between the ship’s

cabins, creek banks measuring less than 1.25

metres, cell doors with opaque service hatches, and windows off their

hinges. The moveable and unmoveable seats in a stationary

train. CCTV sighted the person on the above-mentioned

highway heading in a misadventurous and not altogether

unintentional direction.

In the strongest of possible terms: a

witness is a person, sitting. In a seat, speaking. Into a microphone, and some-

times. An interpreter. Their behaviour in the courtroom

was evidence of this. It was acknowledged at

the outset and the court

will not cavil.

The coroner’s findings and recommendations give dignity—

to the missing or deceased.
