Screw the Silence

Aye, I know if I rap about Palestine
and what’s going on,
it won’t change a single thing.

But what kind of example am I showing my people
who can’t really say this
I’ve always shown awareness to every race
even when it was dangerous.
So me not posting this
is like listening to everybody that hates it.

Nah, screw that
the Middle East has suffered for way too long;
now when does it stop
I feel like the world don’t care no more
Just last night,
a little girl got shot.

The Middle East,
that’s my home
why can’t the enemy leave us alone
cause if they don’t, I swear
every single Arab in the world
will let it be known

Every mother that’s lost their child,
every child that’s lost their mother
All the fathers with a broken smile,
every sister that’s lost their brother
I promise you,
that I feel your pain
when I see tears falling down your face
I know it’s never gonna be the same
Insha’Allah
God will make this change

We’ll keep fighting
till the day we die
and we will always hold our flags up high
I’ll keep marching till my feet get tired
until the world knows the reason why

We’re all human
and our differences
shouldn’t matter any more
Freedom and peace
is the only thing
that we should be fighting for
